Tad’s Comments:

Ok. So this is a 7 for me. On one level it’s a 10 on clarity. I absolutely get it. But, in terms of relevance, I give it a 5. I just wonder how many healers (despite intellectually knowing it’s a good idea) are deeply craving to heal themselves so they can help others more. I suspect many of them might identify more with having resistant and difficult clients (and not really see that what that’s really all about is their own stuff.) I wonder how many of them REALLY get that healing themselves is the key to helping people better, thus getting better results and thus getting more word of mouth. So, I agree with your diagnosis, but a diagnosis is usually a poor basis for a target market. My big question here is this: what are the symptoms they’re experiencing as a result of not being as healed as they need to be? What is it that they most notice? Resistant clients? Clients vanishing? No one giving feedback? Feeling not confident that they’re helping? Etc.

Also – perhaps a more fundamental question – heal them of what? What do you see as the number one wound in healed in this community? What’s getting in the way most? More to the point – what do they experience as getting in the way most?

Right now this feels a bit generic and vague in the promise. Like, “get that’s a good idea but somehow I’m not willing to spend any money on it.”

And the word “thrive” also feels like a vague promise. Does this mean they feel happier? Or they’re making more money? Feeling more on purpose?

Clarity around these things would help a lot.

Niching Contest Participant Comments:

8/10: My initial response is that you are over-using the word “help”. Most of us healers (helpers) are often terrible about self-care, to the point that it isn’t on our radar. So I wonder if you will be overlooked with the focus on HEAL. I don’t view myself as needing to heal something – it would be helpful if you identify what sort of thing needs healing.

8/10: I give it an 8, it is clear and to the point, but it does not hook me into taking action even though I am the target market.

9/10: Love it. This is a niche I’m also very very interested in pursuing so Yay :)

10/10: Love it. Very clear and to the point. I know who, what and why. Now I’m curious about the how.

7/10: How?

10/10: Thanks for doing what you do!

7/10: What challenges are the helping pro’s facing?

10/10: Love the aim, can definitely see the need for this too, great niche!

7/10: What do they need to heal from? Emotional trauma? Physical ailments? How does it help their clients? It sounds like you may be helping healing professions walk their talk and be a better walking billboard for their own biz.
