We help for people who are unsatisfied with their lives, relationships or surroundings and are eager to find new ways of transformation.
Niching Contest Participant Comments:
4/10: Lives, relationships or surroundings… which one is it? New ways of transformation = ?
5/10: I struggle with describing this too, as a healer/coach. What we do is just so broad. I have found that if I focus on a specific audience or technique, with the understanding I can introduce other concepts once I have a client across from me it is easier.
4/10: just because I’m not really sure what you do, or what you mean by “new ways of transformation”. A lot of people could be unsatisfied with their lives and not be in your target audience. What is it that makes people in your niche unique? People who are unsatisfied and want to address it in a specific way?
4/10: Most people seem unsatisfied – can you be more specific on what kinds of unsatisfied people? New ways of transformation so they can do what – what do they want? It’s quite vague.
4/10: Needs clearer domain name. What are some choices of “ways of transformation”? I understand being able to help people in general, as I’ve helped all sorts of people with all sorts of issues, but for marketing, the challenge is to be really targeted, narrow it down and be specific. Bummer, I know, but have to pick your favorite people.
3/10: I can’t visualize who these people are. Adults? What has happened to them to bring them dissatisfaction?
3/10: Not sure what exactly you’re offering.
7/10: mainly because I’m not exactly sure how you help people transform their lives. I really like your focus though!
4/10: because i’m not sure what you do or how you do it. Also, having three people in the picture is confusing for me. Do you all work with me at the same time? Is this a center of some kind? This niching thing is hard isn’t it? At least it was hard for me. I’m a broad thinker so narrowing things down isn’t the easiest for me.
4/10: I can’t fault the good intentions… but at the moment it feels so big that it becomes vague.
Intriguing. But not niche-ing.
5/10: So that would be everyone? Saying how might narrow it down or being more specific about who? No hint from the domain name.
5/10: Because of how generalized it is. 140 characters isn’t a lot, but I think more detail is needed in your message.
6/10: I think I know lots of people who would be interested in what you’re offering, but I’m not totally sure. How do you do this? Is it one-on-one? Group? Do the three of you always work together? It sounds very interesting, but I’m not sure what you do.
5/10: I hear what you do but i don’t immediately get a picture in my head of who it is in my friendship group that you would be perfect for. I think I would just give you a nod, smile and say “oh that sounds interesting”.
Ana María Constaín’s Reflections:
Thanks! I found it so hard to put it in just 140 characters, and in english! We work with Gestalt and raising consciousness. Both terms so hard to explain in our context. This exercise has been great and I really appreciate your feedback.
