Tad’s Comments:

Right now this is a 6.5 for me. I love the language you’ve used. Emotional chaos. Not “escape emotional difficulties” but “chaos.” You use a strong word for what is a strong situation. I love that you’ve focused on the issue of overwhelm as a very particular emotion. And I like the word tenacity. Not often used but it’s nice to see the grittiness of tenacity mixed with a word like “grace.”

And I’m not exactly sure who to refer you to. Anyone who’s overwhelmed? And overwhelmed with what? Emotional chaos? Parenting? Running their business? I sense, of course that you’re wanting to help people escape the overwhelming chaos they feel. But even so, I find myself wondering more about the particular flavour of that. Like is it from a recent traumatic event? A death? From childhood issues coming up? What triggers it? How long have they been dealing with it? Is it a totally new thing in their life? A chronic issue? Is it mostly men or women? Does it matter? Clarity around these things would make a big difference.

Thanks for making this world a bit less chaotic .

Niching Contest Participant Comments:

5/10: I’d want to know what kind of overwhelm? (I’m good at all kinds of it! ) Also would like to know about the methods.

8/10: How do you do this? Coaching? Retreats? Meditation?

8/10: I really like this – simple and concise and I love the picture! My only question is if there’s anyone in particularly you like to work with?

6/10: I love the image and the words you have used so far, but I have no idea what you do, how you do it, for whom you do it.

7/10: Who’s your target and is this coaching?

6/10:  I like the image but don’t really get what you do.

5/10:  Without going into your website, I don’t know how you do this transforming, so think it needs something else. For example, are you a coach?

9/10: I wonder how you do this.

10/10: I give this a 10. She is targeting people with emotional chaos and teaching the resilience.

I’d like to know more about what makes you think I can do that. I like the concept of escaping from emotional chaos and would like it to tie to your mission more clearly.

6/10: Get the idea. Have some problems with “escape” part philosophically and yet open to your way as the feeling evoked feels real and powerful. Yet, I am still unclear –  about 6 then – as to who specifically you are loving to work with that is experiencing emotional chaos.

7/10: I’d get more specific with overwhelm. I know a bit of you back story, so it might help to name it more specifically. Depression, anxiety, trauma. . . what, or maybe what emotions? Emotional chaos is a pretty mixed bag, then what’s the outcome? Escape means it’s gone, but then what? What is the positive outcome after? I like the adjectives of the method. Pretty good though!

7/10: Who are you targeting though? I like the premise though.

10/10: Really like this, clear life changing goal.

7/10: It seems to me like you’ve got two themes: emotional chaos and overwhelm. Which is it and who is it you’re reaching out to?

9/10: Definitely attracts me.

Carrie-Ann Baron’s Reflections:

Thank for the feedback. I work primarily with individuals between 35-55 who are experiencing chronic overwhelm and anxiety. They have a vague sense that something is missing; despite the fact that their life is full of commitments and responsibilities. Maybe they are waiting for the other shoe to drop; or they are experiencing that domino effect of anxious thinking and “what if” scenarios. My program is “coaching” yet I am supporting them in LIVING rather than “just having a life.” My clients learn how to regain control and direction of one’s own life. The resulting effect is to value one’s own self-worth and honour one’s authentic nature by nurturing their tenacious spirit in an empowering way. The 3 phases include: Lifting the Weight of the World, Rediscovering who they are, and Awakening to the Possibilities within and around them. There are many areas of life that we can focus on. . . however when you are in that state of emotional chaos, you have no idea where to start first. . . so I support them in starting with themselves. Small acts of courage to start Living with Tenacity.
