“I’ve been in marketing for 14 years and I’ve never read anything on the subject of niche marketing more clear, more helpful, more practical, more friendly, or more charming than Tad’s The Niching Spiral. Figuring out your niche is the very, very best thing you can do for your business (and for your clients) but it can also be tender work for those of us who think of our work as a calling, something we do in service to others. We want to help as many people as we can – and Tad gets that, and has put together simple and extraordinarily illuminating exercises that will make it easier to get really clear about whom we’re meant to serve. This book is inspired and inspiring. If you own your own small business, please buy it.”

“The Niching Spiral is genius.”
“SO refreshing to finally see some niching material out there that is HELPFUL! He makes it so simple to see how niching evolves over time, instead of forcing people to feel like they have to choose something right away (which we all know doesn’t work). Tad gives you the tools you need to hone in on a niche, but also teaches you how to progress and get more specific with your niche as you move forward in your business. I love the spiral analogy and I’ll be definitely be sharing this with my clients!”

“The Niching Spiral is is bursting with excellent information highlighting what a niche is and why it’s important; questions to ask your self and exercises to do to determine your niche; the Spiral Concept; and an understanding of marketing. Tad, you have done a FABULOUS job in putting all this valuable information in one place.”

“I went through months of agonizing soul searching and paralyzing mental stress to get clearer about my niche. Having taken dozens of business trainings and read many of the books, and being in a mastermind, I thought it’d be next to impossible for someone to truly understand my tortured and somewhat neurotic quest. As an entrepreneur and pioneer with the heart of a helper, hands of someone with multiple skills, and the itchy feet of an explorer . . . it eventually dawned on me there was someone who could understand my quirks, grasp the big picture, and also walk me through the dark tunnel to where my heart really needed to go. Enter Tad Hargrave! and his deceivingly simple offer to help through the Niching Spiral. Another book! Really?
I got it. I devoured it.
Having read many of his blogs over the years and having done work with Tad personally (all incredibly helpful), I was blown away by the coherence, clarity, and power of this deceptively simple source of help. A book. Yup. This book was just what I needed to calm my nerves, validate my fears, affirm my instincts and intuitions, and just walk me through that dark maze. I place it in my chest of extremely easy to read and very hands on type of life manuals I will use again or wish to give to another who is similarly lost one day. I’m blessed to know Tad and lucky to have my copy to hold onto.”

“I am booking more speaking talks and enrolling more one-to-one clients and people in my retreats.”
“I had been in what I call ‘Niche Agony’ for years. I was unable to narrow down the focus on the people that I serve. I had been in confusion and doubt for a long time and as a result I was too vague in my promotional writing until I started to work with Tad. Through his mentorship I was able to identify that my niche within the very broad range of spirituality, were people that were spiritual seekers who could not be followers and had a tendency in their search to feel lost and alone.
As this became clear the next step was to start to re-write some of my sales letters for my retreats. Tad gave me some valuable feedback on the name of one of my retreats, ‘the Enlightenment Intensive.’ I came to realize the name really did not represent the experience that people got during the retreat. We found a new name “Coming Home” and a by-line “You have to do it by yourself but you don’t have to do it alone”. It was a massive breakthrough for me. It summed up the journey of awakening that my folks were on . . . of how they searched, got lost, felt alone and then the feeling of what it was like to experience their true self. It is like coming home. But there was still a problem. I wrote a sales letter based on a copying template I had downloaded from another coach but I just couldn’t get it right. It was awkward. In some sections it was too clinical in some it got far too personal. I was totally stuck in getting it right. I gave what I’d written to Tad and he worked it over. When I read how he had re-written it I literally cried. The whole sales letter had come alive! It was as if Tad had reached into my heart and translated into words all the compassion, care and understanding I have for the people I serve and put it on paper.
Now I that I am clear with my niche, my retreat title and I have a wonderful sales letter I have so much more energy and enthusiasm in getting myself out there in front of people . . . more than I have ever done before. I am booking more speaking talks and enrolling more one-to-one clients and people in my retreats. Tad, you’re a marketing miracle worker. I can’t wait to do more sessions with you.”
